Isa Koi Farm, based in Ojiya, Niigata, Japan is one of the leading breeders out there, specialising predominantly in Gosanke. For a long time, it was widely believed that Showa didn't grow as big as other Gosanke varieties (Kohaku and Sanke) - until Isa Showa changed all that. Well reknown for breeding massive Showa that maintain the stunning body format and striking colour quality. Showa make up around 70% of their focus and they are highly sought-after.
This is a beautiful selection of young tosai Showa from Isa. They are growing really well and the body development is already noticable. There's still a lot of colour to come through and no doubt this selection will blossom into stunning Nishikigoi.
