Check out this amazing Doitsu Shiro Utsuri from the Japanese breeder Kase at Koshiji Koi Farm. Kase is well known for breeding new varieties and tends to specialise in superb Showa and Goshiki and the rarer doitsu varieties.
This particular fish really does has a lot of development to come. The underlying sumi gives a preview of what can be expected in terms of colour development. It's eating and growing really well, thick-framed and a large head but with a balance, flowing body shape. It is definitely going to be exciting to watch this fish develop!
